About
Evolutionary biology integrates everything we know about life on Earth and that's why I think it's the most complete description of the living world. In my research I concentrate on evolutionary processes that shaped emergence and evolution of sex and sexual selection. I'm also interested in the functioning of immune system since it is directly linked to the role of parasites in evolution. My most recent analyses comprise studying the interplay between sex and environmental conditions, together with physiological and immunological trade-offs, based on model species of birds.
